HEMP SEED BUTTER
If you like hemp seeds you will love hemp seed butter!
This butter has a rich and nutty taste similar to sunflower seeds.
Can be used as a spread for sandwiches, muffins and fruit (bananas!)
or add extra creaminess and protein to your smoothie or salad dressing.
Hemp seeds are a complete protein source and very digestible.
Full of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and healthy omega 3 and 6
and 9 in the right proportion. Many health benefits make it a true superfood.
1 ½ cup (shelled) hemp seeds
4 tablespoons hemp oil
Celtic sea salt to taste
Blend all the ingredients in your food processor or blender on high until smooth.
Leave a bit chunky or if you want a more creamy butter put through a strainer.
Store in a glass jar with a lid in the refrigerator.
Hemp seed butter will be good for up to two weeks.
