HIGH PROTEÍN HEMP HUMMUS
Add more protein and essential fatty acid to your hummus!
1/3 cup de- shelled hemp seeds
1 can chickpeas, drained, or 2 cups freshly cooked
1 tbsp hemp oil
3-4 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tbsp tahini (optional)
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ -1 tsp salt
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
Blend on low, stopping to turn the mixture until smooth.
Hummus is a wonderful dip for fresh vegetables or pita bread. It can be used as a filling for sandwiches, wraps and rolls.
Can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 4 days.
